Our third keynote for WLS 2019 announced: Cathy Casserly is familiar to many WLS attendees from several visits before. As we pride ourselves in our attempt to forge a community of returning speakers as well as summit attendees, Cathy is high on our list of speakers we want to see coming back. Her history of pioneering Open Courseware at MIT, as well as her work for both Creative Commons and after this also the online learning platform EdCast (where she was VP) is highly relevant to scholars, policy-makers, education managers and entrepreneurs alike. More information on her topic will be forthcoming. As a special opening for PhD students internationally who want to join our PhD Colloquium, Cathy will be part of this from beginnig until end.
