Theme and format description
Please also review the calls
The WLS team usually sets up and plans a number of research groups, inviting attendees to suggest and form more groups. However, this year's WLS is a sort of "leap year" event, considering that we introduced the Oslo Roundtable in June and will follow up on that in the September discussions. The number of groups have therefore been reduced this fall and we label them "breakout sessions", to link them thematically to the keynote lectures.
Breakout sessions can be focused on discussion only or on presentation of papers, or both. It depends on the sign-up. We will announce the modification of sessions themes in due time. The ambition is to have each breakout session result in an articulated proposal for further action. As said in the calls, we also seek publishable papers. Abstracts are reviewed continuously. Full papers will be processed via double-blind review, with adequate time for iteration.
Sessions September 19/20/21
