Theme and format description
Please also review the calls
The WLS team sets up and plans a number of research groups. These are described here. Attendants who so wish, can suggest other research groups and panel themes. If accepted, the commitment comes with it to chair the group or panel, as well as communicating with presenters. A new research group must consist of at least two panels. Each panel in a research group is required to field a minimum of five presentations, with papers sent in for review through our calls system. The bonus in organizing a panel is a free ticket to the summit, including all social events. Travel and hotel costs still apply.
Panels can in other words be formed within one of the planned themes, or it can be organized around an new, suggested group one. Once formulated, new groups will be introduced and communicated through our website. Panels will be subject to acceptance review.
It is possible as well to suggest panels for a plenary session, provided all named panel speakers are confirmed and paid attendees. Accepted panels, and panel contributions will be featured in the Official World Learning Summit Proceedings 2018.
Panels can consist of both accepted scientific papers (10 pages max/10 minutes plus discussion) and accepted short papers (5 pages max/10 minutes including discussion). Please review the calls page.
